The St. Anne school community has been a part of my life and heart for the past 17 years as a parent. It is such an honor and a blessing to enter into this year with the dual role as both parent to two St. Anne alumni and principal to nearly 530 students. I have participated as a parent in all the traditions over the years that make our school strong, unique, faith-filled and a model of both academic and spiritual excellence. Viewing these same traditions from the eyes and perspective as the Principal of St. Anne has given me an even deeper love and appreciation of our school, students, staff, volunteers, donors and our school community as a whole. We are all truly blessed to play a such a critical role in shaping our students’ academic future, as well as their core character and moral compass. We are proud in the knowledge that, as students complete their time at St. Anne, we are delivering to the community young adults who are not only academically prepared to be successful , but who are strong in their faith and values which will guide their every decision. I walk through these halls and classrooms many days talking with students, watching them learn and grow and the thought crosses my mind that we may be educating a future President of the United States, scientist who cures cancer, mother and father of future Wildcats, teacher, humanitarian, Pope or Saint! Whatever path each of our Wildcat graduates choose to take once they leave these halls, I smile as both parent and Principal knowing that today everything we do is building that future version of our students.
