*The signed records request in the application will be sent to the prospect's current school for grades 1st - 8th. The necessary records that will be considered for acceptance for
 1st - 8th grades are students’ report cards from all academic school years, most recent standardized testing, attendance, and behavior records from the current school year.

Upon receipt of the records and results of a recent standardized test, the principal decides the acceptance and grade placement of the new student for a trial period of 4 to 6 weeks. Parents are informed of this arrangement. No later than the fourth week of the student's enrollment, the principal and the teacher discuss the student's progress. If performance indicates that a change of grade would be beneficial for the student, the parents must be notified and invited to a conference to discuss the reasons for the grade change. A change of grade after six weeks is extraordinary.
 
 All students are placed on a waiting list or probation until the principal receives the academic records from the previous school. Academic records brought by the registering students are not acceptable. Copies of the original birth certificate issued by the Department of Health and the baptismal certificate must be seen. Notation is made on the school registration form and the certificate(s) are returned to the parent.

The principal is responsible for seeing that only students with proper credentials are admitted.

You will recieve an acceptance notification from Anne East, Admissions Director, who will prompt you to officially apply.

 The third step is to apply. This step should not be completed until after the family has toured the school and received all information. To complete the online application, select the button below, Student Application.
 This application consists of 8 sections. 

Once the application is received, the Admissions Director will email the parents with more information about the registration process.

• Funds will be transferred into a Texas Education Freedom Account at predetermined intervals throughout the year. Families will then be able to approve payments from this account to cover certain education costs (private school tuition, homeschool curriculum, tutoring, therapies, lunch, transportation, technology, etc.) through approved vendors (educational institutions, education service providers, etc.)
• Families do not have direct access to these funds, and the money cannot be withdrawn for cash.

Funds may be used for:

• Tuition and fees
• Curriculum and learning materials
• Private tutors and therapists
• Transportation and meals
• Technology (limited to 10% of funds)

1. Children with Disabilities

Children with a disability whose family income is at or below 500% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Children with a disability include both children with an iep on file with TEA and children who submit a program-approved proof-of-disability form with their application.

2. Low-Income Families

Children whose family income is at or below 200% of the FPG, Children whose family income is between 201% and 500% of FPG

3. Everyone else

Students who move from public schools will be prioritized over currently enrolled private school students in this category only

Admission of New Students [Diocesan Policy] From out-of-state

Children seeking admission to pre-k, kindergarten, or grade 1 and are under-age according to admission requirements
 may not be admitted to the respective grade unless
 • The student has moved from a state where the age requirement differs from that listed above.
 • The student has completed the respective grade in that out-of-state Catholic or accredited school.

In order for every student to be protected from communicable disease and to be able to participate in the school programs, The Texas Department of State Health Services has established minimum immunization requirements. All new students admitted to a Catholic School in the State of Texas are required to furnish a copy of their immunization record to the school office before they may enter school on the first day. Checked items on this list are missing from your child’s records and must be furnished to the school office in order for your child to enter class.

Registration fees must be paid in the spring at the time of registration for the following year or upon registration of a new student. Such fees are non-refundable. Registration for next school year will not be complete until the tuition and fees for the current year are paid. FACTS Tuition Management Service handles all tuition payments. Tuition is payable from July through April only by bank draft. Parents may make a one-time lump-sum payment by July 1. Families applying for tuition categories 1-7 must complete a Grant & Aid application and submit all the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment at www.factstuitionaid.com. Your registration is not complete until all forms and registration fees are received at St. Anne Catholic School and you have fully enrolled in FACTS. Families enrolling into income category 8, Pre K, and non-Catholics can skip the application to FACTS Grant & Aid by letting the school know your intent to pay category 8, Pre K, or non-Catholic tuition.
